For Everly Blog Tour: Review + Giveaway

Determined to overcome a dark and tragic past, college student Everly Wallace is only months away from earning her degree in physical therapy. She’s consumed with school, caring for her ailing grandfather, and figuring out how to pay the next bill. The last thing she wants is a relationship, but it just might be the one thing she needs.

Major League pitcher Cole Parker hasn’t fought for anything in his life. He went from a privileged upbringing to a multimillion dollar All-Star career. But when his pitching shoulder starts to give him trouble at only twenty-four years old, he faces the possibility of his injury becoming public knowledge and costing him everything.

In a desperate bid to save his career, Cole decides to hire someone to treat his injury, someone who will keep things off the record and out of the media. He finds the perfect solution in Everly. As mysterious as she is beautiful, she provides an enticing distraction from his pain. Soon, physical therapy is the last thing on his mind.

When an act of betrayal brings the truths they both fear to light, Cole will have to fight for the first time in his life…not just for his career, but for Everly’s love.

I love Everly's determination and drive to make the best of everything. Despite everything that has gone wrong in her life, and believe me, pretty much everything has, she still finds joy in little things: her grandfather, baseball, and her friendship with Dr. Wyatt. So when Wyatt approaches her telling her his brother needs some under-the-table physical therapy she agrees because Wyatt has done so much for her. Little did she realize that Wyatt's brother was Cole Parker, the famous pitcher for her favorite team.

Everly is always working. She goes to school, works shift at a fancy restaurant, and volunteers at three physical therapy places around town. Yet, she fits Cole into her schedule. Wouldn't you if you were being paid $5000 a session? She needs the money to pay her grandfather's medical bills and the mortgage.

Cole isn't cocky. He's a sweet guy, but he is a playboy. He doesn't want to deal with the hassle of trying to keep up with a girlfriend while on the road constantly. He's been there, done that, and failed at it. Cole enjoys spending time with his family and desperately hopes that he will not be traded to another team. He wants to stay where he is, close to his family and in his hometown.

The suspense in this novel was unbelievable! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. And the shocking twists and turns where unsuspected. The culprit caught me by surprise! I did think they (the main culprit) was kind of suspicious but I didn't think she actually did it!!

For Everly (have I told you how in love I am with this title?) is an stunning contemporary new adult romance. Be sure to pick up a copy!!!
