Point of Retreat (Slammed #2) by Colleen Hoover

Hardships and heartache brought them together…now it will tear them apart.

Layken and Will have proved their love can get them through anything; until someone from Will’s past re-emerges, leaving Layken questioning the very foundation on which their relationship was built. Will is forced to face the ultimate challenge…how to prove his love for a girl who refuses to stop ‘carving pumpkins.’
First line:
I'm confident this year will be our year. Mine and Lake's year.

Point of Retreat was the most butterflying bemazing sequel to Slammed. It was heart-wrenching and funny. Will's POV was great. Vaughn shows up and Lake starts to question her relationship with Will. It would have been nice to throw in a scene with Vaughn at the end but the ending was amazing without it. Colleen Hoover is excellent author with beautiful imagery. And we get to see more slams. That made everything perfect.

CONGRATULATIONS to Colleen for selling the rights to both Slammed and Point of Retreat to Atria, a division of Simon & Schuster. Read about it here.
