Maddy's never understood the obsession with angels, so when one comes to her uncle's diner she doesn't recognize him for who he is, Jackson Godspeed, the hottest young angel. Jacks comes in and they get to talking an they just click, until Maddy finds out what he is. And, boy, is she pissed. She actually trusted this guy, and he was just playing her. What interest would an angel have in plain, ordinary Maddy?
Jacks just wants to escape the spotlight. He hates having everything he does examined and inspected. And to top it off, his on and off again girlfriend only cares about the publicity their relationship creates. So when Jacks meets Maddy, he starts o fall for her. He didn't mean to get her mixed up in his life.
Now someone's killing angels and leaving their wings in the street. And Jacks may be next...

I loved both Maddy and Jacks. Maddy is stubborn and smart, but she's always felt like she didn't quite fit in. She has visions and she always thought they meant nothing. But one comes true and she doesn't know what to think of it.
Jacks both loves and hates the spotlight. He wishes he could one place where there aren't cameras snapping his picture or girls screaming his name.
It was interesting getting to see into both their heads. And I will definitely be picking up the next book, which unfortunately has not title or tentative release date. sigh...
