I'm already anxious for a re-read of this one to pick up on all the easter eggs. This is my first Veronica Roth novel since the Divergent trilogy, and I can say she has hit it out of the park with this one. Roth has written a novel that pits religious fervor based off an illness that eithers kills you or gives you power with a society that centers around technology.

A prophecy tells Elegy that she could be the one to lead her people to victory over those who seek to destroy her. However, the prophecy states she will fall in love with a man who will aide her. There's a few problems with this: Elegy is married to the amazing Shir and she has no intention of leading anybody.

The narrators are wonderful! The only thing was that Theren's narrator was quieter than the others so I felt like sometimes I had a hard time hearing what was being said.

Seek the Traitor's Son is full of twists and turn, hope and heartbreak. I loved the older FMC who has an established life instead of the popular coming of age fantasy (though I love those too). I highly recommend this one and can't wait for the sequel next May!
