First line:
The tavern was little more than a waxed canvas tent, tilted toward the south by the wind that rushed headlong down the mountain.

Once again, I loved Cindy's narration. I have read the book before but this is my first time on audio. I think Nghi's series of novellas leave the reader contemplating something new every time they read. This read had me contemplating how stories are told and how they evolve in different cultures or families.
I can't recommend this series of novellas enough! A must read for every reader.
