Event Recap: Destructively Mine by Krista & Becca Ritchie Tour

Another lovely author event hosted by The Novel Neighbor and Open Door Romance at The Lobby by Union Studio. The store is so cute and it's always fun to visit!

Krista and Becca spoke a lot about their writing process, especially how it has changed as they move to separate houses over the last year or so. They now write on a shared document on Microsoft Teams and Krista usually is writing ahead of Becca and tends to focus on more of the big picture things. Becca tends to follow behind with edits and fill in details and characterization.

The Webs We Weave series actually came from a story they wrote as teenagers. They wanted to return to the story and revamp it, but at the heart it is still the same story of con artists.

Following the author talk, there was, of course, a signing line. I brought a lot of books and they were so gracious about signing all of them. During their talk, they had also brought up the old school days of book blogging, and I told them I had actually been on the blog tours for the first few books. It was great to connect with them over that!

They color coordianted their signatures with the book covers which is so cute. They also brought some goodies: Two different patches, a sticker, a coaster, and an art print.
