The Never List is a fast paced sexy fantasy novel that I couldn't put down. This was a fast, easy read that kept me on the edge of my seat. And don't forget the spice, which was just delicious. The tension (sexual and otherwise) was also just so well written, I had to keep reading to find out what happens next.
I love our girl, Rylee, who is fierce, confident, and sensual. She is comfortable in her own body and with herself and it really shows in her actions. It was also nice that, even though she is fierce, she did not become some martial arts warrior when she ends up in a fight. Rylee also trusts her gut, especially when it comes to her men, and is not afraid to stand up to them and for them.
For the girlies who like an older FMC, (from what I can deduce) Rylee is 41 years old (though presumably looks like she's in her twenties because people age a lot slower once they hit age 21). And while the Legends are immortal, I believe they are only a few years older than Rylee. So no wild age gaps here.
I am so excited for the sequel and I hope we get to learn more about the Goddesses plus get more screen time with Mirren! Definitely a must read to add to your Spring TBR!
