Fall to You (Here and Now #2)
Torn between two men…
When I woke up after the accident, I couldn’t remember anything from the last year—including my relationship with Max Hallowell or anything about Nate Crane. Now my memories are returning, but instead of answering my questions, they’re leaving me with more.
The man who broke my heart and wants to be my future…
Max is all I ever wanted, and now he wants to marry me. He’ll do everything he can to fill my life with love, family, and security. I need those things now more than ever. But can I trust him?
The man who stole my heart and wants to let me go…
Nate never made me promises, and I never asked him to. I’d been on the rebound, looking for a distraction, and he made me feel beautiful and wanted when I needed to feel those things most. He says he has to let me go, but what if I can’t let go of him?
With every revelation and every passing day, I feel more like Alice down the rabbit hole. I’m falling. Who will catch me?
Fall to You is the second book in the Here and Now series. It is not a stand-alone and is intended to be read following Lost in Me. Hanna’s story concludes in book three, All for This.
Once a college English professor, I now write full time. I live in rural Indiana, where, when I'm not writing, I get to hang out with my husband and two kids--a six-year-old boy and a two-year-old hellion, er, girl. Not surprisingly, reading and writing remain my favorite activities, though both come in bits and pieces these days, not the big hunks of time I enjoyed before I had children. When I'm feeling virtuous, I like to go running (I use that word liberally. I'm really, really slow) or do yoga. Don't worry, I'm always careful to balance out such activities with a hearty serving of ice cream or a chocolate martini.

I can't tell you guys how excited I was to see this come into my inbox. I squealed. And now I can't wait for All for This coming in August!! I just can't get enough of New Hope. Not only do I want to know what happens to Hannah, Nate, and Matt, I want to know about Hannah's twin Lizzy, and Cally's sisters Drew and Gabby. And, yes, I want to read Meredith's story, too. I hope that Lexi will continue the series with more spin-offs.
The book alternates between past and present and is told in three POVs: Hannah, Max, and Nate. I loved finally being able to understand more about Max and Nate and also learning more about the three months leading up to the accident. The only past left to be unveiled is the day or two before the accident, but a lot happened in that day (or so I assume). I can't wait to find out!!
IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE FIRST BOOK IN THE SERIES, IT WOULD NOT BE WISE TO CONTINUE PAST THIS POINT.
Hannah is trying to figure out who the father of her unborn child. Both of the men she was dating before her fall claim that they haven't slept with her, but obviously that isn't true. Hannah is also trying to sort out her feelings for the two men. She doesn't know why she was wearing Max's ring when they had been fighting the week approaching her fall. Hannah is starting to come to the realization about how sick she was before the accident. She was losing a ton of weight and had major self-esteem issues. I'm glad that she realizes how wrong that was.
Nate is a sexy rocker dude who's also super super sweet. He's reluctant to have an actual relationship with Hannah because he promised his son he would always put him first. I love him even more after reading this book. I can't believe what happened, but I totally called what happened at the end!! I'm still super excited to know what happens next, though!!!
In this first book, I absolutely hated Max. He's grown on me. He's not a scumbag scamming Hannah like I thought he was. He sweet and really does love Hannah. I'm still rooting for Nate, though. I kinda want Max and Meredith to end up in a relationship together even though I kinda hate Meredith. I feel like Max could bring out the best in her though.
SAFE TO READ BEYOND THIS POINT ;)
So, as aforementioned, I can't wait for All For This in August!!!
