Gabby has been in love with her best friend's brother since forever. So when she kisses him, she's elated. But, he is disgusted by the idea, claiming that he sees her as a little sister. Then he leaves to tour the world at surfing competitions for 5 years. When they do see each other, all they do is fight.

I enjoyed seeing Gabby and Hunter fight. It was entertaining. And for the most part, I loved their relationship. Gabby hesitancies at the beginning were valid. And when they did get together, their relationship was fairly strong. I did get slightly annoyed toward the end though. Gabby became one of those girls. Those girls who think they know what is best for their boyfriend and so break up with them to spare their boyfriend pain. But in the end, the reason was to spare them pain that might not even happen.

This is my first book of Sawyer's that I've read. I want to read more. I've heard nothing but good things about her books. Can't wait to get my hands on her other books. I especially can't wait for the sequel! I want Brody and Alyssa's (at least, I assume it's Alyssa's story) story now! I also want to know how Brody killed someone. It was never made clear what happened, only that he killed someone and spent five years in prison. Can I have Make It Double now, please??
