Author Bio:

Cassandra doesn't remember a time when she wasn't writing. In fact, the first time she was published was when she was seven years old and won a contest to be published in an American Girl Doll novel. Since then Cassandra has written more novels than she can count and put just as many in the circular bin. Her personal goal with her writing is to show the reader the character's stories through their dialogue and actions instead of just telling the reader what is happening. In 2012 she became a published Young Adult author, releasing In Between Seasons (The Fall, #1) and the Amazon bestselling thriller, Walking in the Shadows. In 2013 she branched out by using her artistic illustrating talents to publish her first Children's novel, The Adventures of Skippy Von Flippy: Tales of Friendship (Skippy Tales, #1). Flawed Perfection is about River, who is in love with Adam. Adam and his brother Bobby are both in love with River. I immediately fell in love with Adam. He was so sweet, even though he is a player. He has the rebellious good boy thing going on (yes, that is a contradiction, but when you read the book, you'll understand).

Bobby on the other hand is a jerk and a whiney butthead. All he does is complain that River is in love with Adam and not with him. And when River and Adam eventually get together, he does everything in his power to tear them apart, including ostracizing them from their families. When he starts dating Tara, River's best friend, he drags her into the mix.

The end of the book was awesome. I love how River never tries to make a decision for Adam by breaking up with him, as happens in a lot of YA and NA books. I also love how when their families basically disown them, they try to make amends, at least with Bobby and Tara. And the very end :( Just when things were looking up and I was anticipating a happy ending. I definately need to get my hands on Pieces of Perfection as soon as possible. I don't know how I'll survive until then.

You should read Flawed Perfection if you like sweet romances and twist endings. It's definately worth the time.
