Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This meme was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists! In no particular order.
This Week's Theme:
Top Ten Beach Reads
Okay, so I've never been to the beach. So, I thought for awhile what kind of book I would like to read on the beach. I decided that I would want to read something where the subject matter isn't too terribly heavy and that's fun to read and leaves me laughing or going "awwwww." So this is my list.
The Tales of the Frog Princess series by E.D. Baker
Anything by Ally Carter
The Significance series by Shelly Crane
Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally
My Ex From Hell by Tellulah Darling
Just Ella by Margaret Peterson Haddix
Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine
Sea Breeze series by Abbi Glines
Princess Academy by Shannon Hale
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

I've only read Ann from your list! But I've heard good things about Catching Jordan!
ReplyDeleteI love Catching Jordan and have re-read it a couple of times. I need to pick up some of her other books.
DeleteAnna and the French Kiss is the only one on your list that I've read. But several others are on my TBR list. And I'm a fan of Abbi Glines--she made my list too!

Anna and the French Kiss is adorable! I love it <3 And Abbi Glines is amazing! I'm so glad that she got noticed by a traditional publisher!!
DeleteGreat list! I enjoyed both Ella Enchanted and The Princess Academy.
ReplyDeleteI think I first read Ella Enchanted when I was around 8 years old. I can't tell you how many times I've re-read it! It's amazing!!
DeleteI loved reading through your list - I haven't read any of the books, so I'll have to check out your recommendations.

Thanks! They are all definitely worth the read :)
DeleteAnna and the French Kiss is such an amazing book! I still have to read Lola though. :)

I thought Lola was okay, not as good as Anna, but not awful either.
